Busy, Busy, Busy!

Life sure changes as the boys get older. Activities tend to take up more and more time. But we wouldn't have it any other way!

Santa brought Riley a guitar, so we started lessons. He's finding that it take patience and practice to learn how to play. And if you know Riley patience is not a strong point for him. But he's learning. Riley also turned 9 on Feb. 26. We have one more year on single digits.

Kaleb started wrestling this year and loved it. He weighed in right around 48-50lbs and is skinny as can be. We have had a lot of fun watching him go out there and have fun. He won some, he lost some (a lot), but through it all he was grinning from ear to ear. He's already asked to do it again next year. Kaleb turned 7 on Jan. 30, but still seems to think he's only one year behind Riley.

Quinn has learned the art of questions. None stop questions. He takes after Riley with that one. He also loves to play pirates and watch the new show "Jake and the Neverland Pirates".  Last week he did go in to have tubes put in his ears and have his adenoids taken out. We're hoping to avoid the never ending battle with ear infections. Time will tell. He is patiently waiting for his birthday to come!

We are all looking forward to spring and no more snow. The few, and far between, nice days have been a god send to Dana and I as the boys can go out for longer than 10 min.

Oh How we love Fall!

My favorite time of year..FALL!  Today the boys got to go to Zieger Farms and ride in the combine. They LOVED it.  Quinn of course made Daddy ride with him, but he loved every second of it. They came home dusty and dirty...and tired!

I know...I know, I'm a bad blogger!

I know..I've heard it from a few people. When will I update my blog. Truth is I was so frustrated that I couldn't upload a photo slideshow that I have not blogged. But I'm here now.

So...what's been going on this summer! Well we took the boys on their first ever plane ride. We all flew down to Phoenix to surprise my sister and her family. The boys were in aww. of flying. Having never been up in the air it was a totally awsome experience for them...and well Dana and I too. We had a fantasic vacation as well.

So much has happened this summer and in such a short amount of time. The boys are growing like weeds. You'd think we feed them fertilizer. But the biggest event of the summer is that my baby Quinn is potty trained! As soon as the last of our pull ups are gone...no more shall enter my house. It's an odd sensation, diapers are a thing of the past for our house hold. And we're okay with that.

School will start soon (sept. 9th) and I couldn't be more excited. Riley will be in 3rd grade and Kaleb will be in 1st grade. They may not be as excited as I am.

As for Dana and I, well we celebrated out 10 year anniversary on June 24th. Yes that's right 10 years! I think we'll try for another 10!

Take care!  Kathy
